How to Ensure Seamless Service
1. Load Within the Container
All debris must stay fully inside the dumpster. Material sticking above the rim or outside the container cannot be hauled. If the driver cannot safely remove the dumpster, a dry-run fee applies. If additional pickups are required, schedule them in advance.
2. Plan Ahead for Bulky Items
Large items such as furniture, desks, or gym equipment often exceed standard container dimensions. These loads may require a different container or separate scheduling. Contact Express Portable before loading bulky items to avoid delays or extra charges.
3. Maintain Safe Placement and Access
Dumpster access and safety are mandatory, not optional.
– Keep the area clear at all times
– Place the container in an open, well-lit location
– Maintain a minimum of 14 feet of overhead clearance
4. Avoid Extra Fees
Dry-run fees occur when the dumpster cannot be serviced. Prevent this by ensuring:
– No vehicles block the container
– Gates and enclosures are unlocked
– The area is clear of obstructions on service day
